A huge thank you to all of our families for donating food to the Food Bank in Blackburn. On Friday 14th October, Barbara Foster from the charity visited our Harvest Assembly and was very pleased to receive all of the donations. As ever, our Brookhouse community is extremely generous!

We would like to invite all parents to meet our Senior Leadership Team in order to discuss how to support children's reading at home.

 

The meeting will be held in our new library (formerly year 2) at 8:40am on Wednesday 28th September.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new reward system 'Brookhouse Monster's University'. Children throughout the school have been placed into groups called the Redroarers, Bluebleughs, Orangeoomphs and Greengrrs and will be awarded points for showing our school values and excellent behaviour and attitude. The winners will be announced on a Monday in assembly and the winning university group will be rewarded at the end of each term.

Well done to Class 4 on the highest attendance for the week ending on 1st July. Even though it was Eid last week, class 4 still had the highest attendance for a second week running. Only a couple of weeks left until another year group are crowned Summer Attendance Champions. I wonder who it will be...
