A huge thank you to all of our families for donating food to the Food Bank in Blackburn. On Friday 14th October, Barbara Foster from the charity visited our Harvest Assembly and was very pleased to receive all of the donations. As ever, our Brookhouse community is extremely generous!
Another 100% attendance for Y6 this week has put them at the top of the attendance chart.
Can anybody beat them?
Well done Year 6!
We would like to invite all parents to meet our Senior Leadership Team in order to discuss how to support children's reading at home.
The meeting will be held in our new library (formerly year 2) at 8:40am on Wednesday 28th September.
We look forward to seeing you.
Well done to both classes for superb attendance this week! Our overall attendance average for last week was 99.1% - which is BRILLIANT!
Keep it up - remember EVERY DAY COUNTS.
Congratulations to Year 4 who won the attendance prize this week. Their attendance for the week was 98.4%
Let's see if they can reach 100% this week.
Good luck!
We are excited to announce the launch of our new reward system 'Brookhouse Monster's University'. Children throughout the school have been placed into groups called the Redroarers, Bluebleughs, Orangeoomphs and Greengrrs and will be awarded points for showing our school values and excellent behaviour and attitude. The winners will be announced on a Monday in assembly and the winning university group will be rewarded at the end of each term.
Good luck to everyone!
A warm welcome to all existing and new pupils, parents and staff.
We hope you have had a restful break and are looking forward to the new school year.
Please be sure to check the school calendar for important dates.
We wish you a successful year ahead!
On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body.
Congratulations to Year 2 who had the best attendance for the Summer term.
I hope you all enjoyed your treat!
Mrs Withey
