School will reopen for pupils on Wednesday 3rd September. You will receive a class arrangements letter for every child which you will need to read carefully. If you need to make contact during the holidays, please email the school office at email@example.com and someone will contact you. Many thanks.
Please note the following information • Pupils will be kept in year groups to limit transmission of the virus, so school will be a very different place on our return, both in terms of how the day will run and which areas of the school pupils will be allowed to access. • Entire year groups could be sent home if one tests positive for the virus. • Teachers will be asked to stay two metres away from pupils as much as possible. • Teachers will be asked to position themselves at the front of the class. • Whole school assemblies will not take place and instead pupils will have class assemblies. • Drop off and pick up times will be staggered for different year groups in order to ease congestion. • We will be asked to engage with the NHS test-and-trace system. • We will also need to plan for the possibility of a local lockdown. Be rest assured, we will continue to make the right decisions for our entire school community. Many thanks - stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon.
