We hope the holy month of Ramadhan is bringing you all peace and is providing quality time for prayer and reflection. As Eid is fast approaching and we cannot celebrate with you in person, I would like the children to design and create Eid cards at home and then email in to school. It would also be wonderful if you could take photographs of the Eid celebrations you have at home and email them in to school so that we can enjoy seeing you all celebrating. We will upload any photographs sent in to school on to the website so that we can at least have a virtual celebration! We look forward to seeing you all in your beautiful Eid outfits, spending time with your own families at home.
Re-opening of school on 1st June 2020: As you will know, schools may start opening for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children after the half term holiday on the 1st of June. We will provide you with further information once plans are in place but in the meantime, it would be helpful to start talking to your child about coming back to school and preparing them with regular daily routines. A member of staff will phone you this week to discuss the re-opening of school and what this may look like. For now, please read the DfE guidance for parents and carers as some of the questions I am sure you will have may be answered. The link can be found in the latest news section of the website. Please don’t worry – we will continue to work closely with you throughout this transitional period and online learning and phone calls home will still continue as they have done during the lock down period.
