Year 5

Online Safety

Year 5 have learnt how SMART can keep them safe online.  They have also found out that not everything online is reliable and how important it is to know how to cite sources.

Coding

Year 5 have further developed their knowledge about Coding - how to include variables into their algorithm, as well as sound and a scoring element into their games.

Databases

During this topic children about the uses of databases in real life and how they are organised such records, each record has fields and so on.  They collaborated on creating a Year 5 Database.  Using the class database they conducted searches and represented this on graphs.
