  • Lancashire Care Foundation Trust

    Tue 24 Apr 2018

This year the school will be taking part again in the School Health Needs Assessment (SHNA) in partnership with the school nurse teams from Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust. This helps us to better understand and respond to the health and well-being needs of children in the school and also for extra support to be given if needed. If your child is in Reception or Year 6 you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Children in Year 6 will also complete one in class.

The majority of schools in Lancashire are involved in this and last year over 30,000 children and parents took part! If you would like to know more about this the school nurse will be happy to tell you more.

  • St George's Day

    Mon 23 Apr 2018

Today, in assembly, we have been learning about the patron saint of England, St George.

This afternoon, our Year 5 pupils are going to learn more about St George and then share their learning with the other classes.

  • National Tea Day - 20th April

    Mon 16 Apr 2018 DW

Come and join us for a cup of tea and a slice of cake on Friday 20th April, after assembly.

For just £1.00, you will be served your tea and cake by one of our lovely Year 3 pupils. All proceeds will be used towards the cost of the Y3 trip to Ribchester.

We look forward to seeing you!

  • Free Cricket Sessions

    Tue 20 Mar 2018

Free cricket sessions by have been organised by 'Chance to Shine' through the Lancashire Cricket Board . The sessions are run by Farouk Hussain, Audley Juniors and they are free, open to girls and boys from Year 3 - Year 6. Children do not need to bring any equipment/special clothing (they just need to wear trainers).

The sessions are every Saturday 2-4pm on  the outdoor weather pitch at St. Michael with St. Johns (inside the Galaxy Sports Hall if it's raining). During the Easter break there will be a cricket tournament 12-3pm on 28.03.18, again free.

The Saturday sessions will be continuing over the Easter holidays.
