PE - Gymnastics: Children were challenged to maintain a controlled a balance using a part of their body, jump and create different shapes in the air and perform rolls with control.

Art - The children produced a 3D sculpture in a Pop Art style using bright and bold colours.

History - We visited Blackburn Museum to take part in a toy workshop. Children learnt about toys in the past, discussing how and what they were made from and how they have changed over time.

PE - Blackburn Multiskills Festival. 10 children from Year 2, with 2 sports leaders from Year 6, took part in the Blackburn Multiskills festival, competing against 20 other schools in activities chosen to test their sprinting, throwing and catching skills. The children behaved and performed with distinction winning first place.
