Autumn 1: Apron making

During Autumn 1, Class 5 made an apron that was appropriate for gardening. This needed to be able to hold 3-5 garden tools and be secure. The Apron also needed to be able to be worn more than once. These aprons were designed, planned and sewn by the pupils.

Autumn 2: Spring rolls

In Autumn 2, we explored spring rolls. We began by tasting different spring rolls, that had different fillings.

After this we evaluated these and decided what would be the perfect spring roll for a celebration.

After planning and designing our very own spring roll, we made the spring roll in school. We used paste, spring roll sheets, a filling we made and baked them in the oven. When these were ready, we tasted our spring rolls.
