What are scouts?

Scouts are an international movement and are present in all but four countries of the world.  The movement had been going strong for over 100 years and aims to empower children to make new friends, have lots of fun and try a whole range of new experiences and activities which they wouldn't have the chance to normally.

Why we need more Asians to get involved

In Pakistan and India the scouts movement is huge so it's disappointing that the Asian community within the UK haven't followed and provide these activities for our youngsters. Our children may be good academically but they are lacking in imagination, confidence and the ability to give something new and out of their comfort zone a try.

What are Brookhouse 1V Scouts

As part of the one voice group, within the education initiative we launched the 1V Scouts with Brookhouse in February 2014.  Over the last two years we have grown from strength to strength and have two groups.

We have Beavers aged 6-8 years old and Cubs aged 8-10.5 years old.  We charge £2 per session and charge this 5 weeks.

The children do a huge variety of sessions, working towards badges, learning to talk in front of others and having some amazing and unique experiences.  If you are interested in joining, contact Group Scout Leader on 07921020838.
