Paul Cezanne and Pierre Renoir - Still life Art
Year 4 have learnt all about the life and work of the famous artists, Cezanne and Renoir, and identified key skills used for their still life paintings. The children focused on Cezanne's apples and Renoir's onions to create their own clay models of fruits and vegetables. They added patterns and textures to the surface of their models and mixed their own paints to create specific tints and shades needed for their models. Mrs Hussain was particularly proud of how the children used their close observations of real fruits and the skills previously learnt to create such realistic clay models! Well done Year 4!
